The question for the table
What counts as proof that Commercial Excellence is moving the numbers, when the business units own the wins?
Commercial Excellence is often judged on revenue and EBITDA it seldom gets to claim as its own, while the business units that own the wins are quick to share the blame when the numbers miss. The table compares what leaders put in front of a board: the leading indicators that show people changing how they work, the difference between claiming a result and showing a contribution to it, and why a skeptical executive changing their mind can persuade more than any dashboard.
Come with your own version of the question. The conversation starts from what each guest is working on now.
