The Unintentional Message Your Change Program Is Sending
The message your town-hall deck sends versus the one your people actually hear.

Key Insight
Most transformation leaders spend weeks crafting their change narrative.
There's the one in the town hall deck, and the one your people actually receive.
The deck says: "We've invested in your development. Here's a world-class sales methodology. We're giving you the tools to succeed."
What the room hears: "We hired outsiders to study your job. They decided you're doing it wrong. Your role now is to execute what they designed. We'll be measuring whether you comply."
Nobody intends to send that second message, but it gets communicated anyway through:
• Who was in the room when the solution was designed.
• Whether anyone asked the field what's actually broken.
• Whether the rollout is asking for input or just asking for compliance.
When that's the message people receive, the response is predictable.
They don't fight it. Fighting gets you noticed.
They nod. They attend. They fill in the survey. They wait.
Because why would you commit to a plan that was built without your fingerprints on it? That's not passive resistance. That's a reasonable response to being excluded from decisions about the work you have to do everyday.
More one-look frameworks are published to the library as they're finished.
